G+ Onboarder
Onboarder Terms of Use
Effective date: July 2, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the G+ Onboarder app and your participation in the G+ Onboarder programme operated by G+ (the "Company"). By creating an account, completing verification, or accepting tasks in the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Independent contractor relationship
You participate as an independent contractor, not as an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of the Company. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship. You are responsible for your own taxes, levies, and any statutory contributions arising from payments you receive. You decide when and whether to make yourself available for tasks, and you may set your own availability in the app. The Company does not guarantee a minimum number of tasks, hours, or earnings.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be legally entitled to work as an independent contractor in the Republic of Ghana.
- You must provide accurate identity and verification information (see KYC below).
- You must maintain one account only; duplicate or shared accounts are not permitted.
3. KYC and identity requirements
Before you can be activated, you must complete Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification. This includes providing your full legal name, date of birth, a valid Ghana Card (front and back images), and a live selfie for identity matching, along with your contact and residential details. You confirm that all documents and images you submit are genuine, current, and belong to you. Submitting false, altered, borrowed, or stolen identity documents is a serious breach of these Terms and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
4. Code of conduct
- Act honestly, professionally, and courteously with merchants, customers, riders, and Company staff at all times.
- Represent the merchant and shop details you collect truthfully and accurately.
- Obtain a merchant's consent before capturing their information, shopfront, or documents.
- Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, defraud, or misrepresent yourself to anyone.
- Comply with all applicable Ghanaian laws, local regulations, and venue or market rules.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and do not let anyone else use your account.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the app only for legitimate onboarding, merchant sign-up, and related tasks assigned or made available to you. You may not attempt to bypass, disable, reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the app or its security features; upload malware; or use the app to collect data for any purpose other than the Company's onboarding programme.
6. Fraud policy — GPS and photo integrity
Onboarding tasks rely on the integrity of the data you submit. To prevent fraud, the app records your device's location at the time you capture photos in-app and checks the authenticity of captured images and merchant records.
- Photos must be captured live in the app at the actual location. Uploading pre-existing, edited, staged, recycled, or AI-generated images is prohibited.
- Falsifying GPS location (for example using location-spoofing tools) is prohibited.
- Creating fake, duplicate, non-existent, or non-consenting merchant records to earn commission is prohibited.
Penalties: Suspected fraud may result in immediate suspension, withholding or reversal of unpaid or disputed commissions, forfeiture of pending payouts tied to fraudulent tasks, permanent termination, and, where warranted, referral to law-enforcement authorities. The Company's fraud determinations are made in good faith based on the available evidence.
7. Commission and payout terms
- You earn commission for verified, completed, and approved tasks, at the rates shown in the app for each task type. Rates may change from time to time and the rate in effect when a task is completed applies.
- Payouts are made to the Mobile Money (MoMo) or bank account you register in the app, through our payment provider Hubtel. You are responsible for keeping your payout details accurate.
- Commission is payable only for tasks that pass verification. Tasks that are incomplete, duplicated, unverifiable, or found fraudulent are not payable and any related amount may be reversed.
- Payouts may be held pending review, verification, or resolution of a dispute. The Company may deduct or offset amounts owed to it, including reversals for fraud or error.
8. Data you collect about merchants
In the course of onboarding you may collect information about merchants and their businesses (for example business name, contact details, location, and shopfront photos). You must collect this information only for the Company's onboarding programme, with the merchant's knowledge, and handle it responsibly. You must not copy, retain, sell, share, or use merchant data for your own or any third party's purposes. All merchant data you submit belongs to and is controlled by the Company. How the Company handles data is described in the Onboarder Privacy Policy.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop participating and request account deletion at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app. The Company may suspend or terminate your account and access, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, inactivity, legal or regulatory reasons, or to protect the safety and integrity of the programme. Provisions relating to fraud, payout reversals, confidentiality, data ownership, and governing law survive termination.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of earnings arising from task availability, verification outcomes, connectivity, or device issues.
11. Changes to these Terms
The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
