G+ Onboarder
Onboarder Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information the G+ Onboarder app collects from onboarders, why we collect it, how it is stored and shared, and the rights you have. It is written to reflect what the app actually collects. The app is operated by G+ (the "Company") and is intended only for adults (18+) participating in the G+ Onboarder programme in Ghana.

You may also submit information about merchants you onboard (for example business name, contact, location, and shopfront images). That merchant information is handled by the Company as described in the Onboarder Terms of Use.
How we use your information
- Identity verification (KYC): to confirm you are who you say you are before activating your account.
- Fraud prevention: to check the integrity of captured photos and the location at which onboarding occurs, and to detect duplicate, spoofed, or falsified tasks.
- Payouts: to calculate and pay your commission to your MoMo or bank account.
- Service operation: to assign and verify tasks, communicate with you, provide support, and improve the reliability and safety of the programme.
- Legal and safety: to meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and security obligations, and to protect the rights and safety of people and the Company.
Where your information is stored
Your information is stored and processed using Google Firebase — including Cloud Firestore (database), Firebase Cloud Storage (documents, images, selfies, and photos), and Firebase Authentication (sign-in). Google may process and store this data on secure infrastructure that may be located outside Ghana. We rely on reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the programme, and only as needed:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database, storage, and hosting.
- Hubtel — SMS/messaging and payment (MoMo/bank) processing for payouts.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to prevent fraud or harm, or to protect our legal rights.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the programme, verify tasks, process and record payouts, prevent and investigate fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
You can request deletion of your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete Account. Deletion requests are subject to a 30-day grace period before your account and associated personal data are permanently removed, during which you may cancel the request by signing back in. After the grace period, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except limited records we are required or permitted to retain for security, fraud prevention, financial/transaction records, dispute resolution, backups, or legal compliance. You may also email angelonartey@hotmail.com for help with a deletion request.
Children
The G+ Onboarder app is not intended for anyone under 18. Onboarders must be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, use the in-app options or contact us using the details below.
Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012
We process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of the Republic of Ghana. We handle your data lawfully, for the purposes described above, and take reasonable steps to keep it accurate and secure. You have the rights afforded to data subjects under that Act.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by other reasonable means, and the effective date above will be updated.
