G+ Ask

Your mobile number.

Ghana (+233). We’ll text you a verification code.

By continuing, you agree to receive a verification SMS. Answer alerts are optional. Your Ask inbox can send reply alerts; turn them off in Edit page. Google processes your number to prevent abuse.

Your privacy

Anonymous stays anonymous.

Anonymous questions do not include your account identity. Recipients cannot buy your identity or identifying hints. Inbox owners can publish a selected question with their response to Snapchat; the sender remains anonymous unless they chose to show their name. What you type can still identify you, so avoid sharing personal details.

Ask openly is optional. If you choose it and confirm, your account’s display name appears with that question and may appear on a shared answer.

Reply alerts go to the inbox owner’s verified mobile number and include a private inbox link. G+ admins receive an activity alert with the receiving handle, without the question text or sender’s identity. Turn SMS alerts off in Edit page.

After sending a question, you can choose “Text me when they answer” and verify your Ghana mobile number. G+ privately stores your account ID and a number hash separately from the question for up to 90 days to send one alert when the answer is shared. The recipient cannot see this information. The SMS contains the full public reply link. Existing SMS opt-outs are respected.

G+ stores questions and answers until the inbox owner deletes them. Private abuse-control browser identifiers are separated from questions and expire after 30 days. Rate-limit records expire within two days; reports and notification delivery records are kept up to 90 days. Block records remain to enforce blocks. Hosting providers may process technical request logs. Ads use public event information, not question contents.

No threats, harassment, impersonation, hate, sexual exploitation, or sharing someone else’s private information. Report abusive questions in your inbox. G+ moderators can review reports and block abusive browsers. For support or privacy requests, use G+ contact details.
